I would really love to win the faucet and gift card. I’m disabled with a neck injury. It’s difficult for me to pick up heavy things like a pot of water. It would be great to fill up a pot already on the stove…..and another reason is its really cool. Thank you for the contest.

The last time my kitchen was remodeled was in the early 70′s. The walls are wood paneling; the floor is pealing vinal, and 1/2 my appliances are not working anymore. I am starting a kitchen remodel, which is a bigger job then I thought. I have my cabinets picked out and I know what flooring I want. I am still undecided about the counter top and the back splash thought. I am in the market for a new faucet and the new pots will give me a something to cook in when I am done two months from now.

Also, I started a project to remove a ceiling fan in the kitchen and the light doesn’t work. So, I have to cook meals in the daytime hours only.

My boyfriend and I rent a cute little house, but for the three years that we have lived here the kitchen faucet has leaked where the faucet and sink connect. My landlord put in a new washer on the spigot, that didn’t work. Also, the spray mechanism for rinsing dishes has also always dripped. We’ve asked for a new sink, but the landlord is also on a fixed income.
As far as the utensils we have were all bought either at dollar stores or garage sales, therefore they break easily and need to be replaced regularly. We are both disabled and on a fixed income, therefore we cannot afford to buy our own sink or good utensils. This prize would be such a help to us by making our water bill lower and life a lot easier. Thankyou

The economy has been tough on our small family business. To keep going, we have put money in the business at the expense of our home. The kitchen faucet drips so we turn off the water. Every time I need water, I have to pull out what’s under the sink and turn on the water; when I’m done I have to reverse the process. Sure would love to win this…

I would love the new Zuri Culinary Kitchen Faucet to replace my most annoying faucet which has two settings – off and splash all over the place way too much water pressure. Plus I have not bought anything new for my kitchen since I moved into our first home together with my husband 6 years ago, since I am trying to be frugal and not go into debt. Thanks for the opportunity :)

My husband is a fantastic cook! He refuses to eat my cooking, maintaining that everything I cook is designed to kill him so that I can collect on his life insurance – and I reply that he doesn’t have a big enough policy yet for me to bother!! I got him a cool 1952 Fridgidaire Electric Stove to cook on, and he cooks for the two of us, our friends, and large quantites of food for the church. Our faucet is a regular 4 hole affair, and it is not tall enough to fill his large stockpots. So, fill a glass with water, pour it in the stockpot – fill a glass with water, pour it in the stockpot – fill a glass with water, pour it in the stockpot — ad nausem!! He would be beside himself with joy if I won this marvelously engineered piece of art that would let him fill the stockpot by – wait for it – actually putting the water in the stockpot first!!!! I would hear a lot less creative made-up words and groans from him!!! Save us Texans from his tyrades!!!

My husband and I moved into our 1950′s brick ranch house 8 years ago with a “5-year plan”. During that time we were going to upgrade some things, (kitchen with the pink countertops most certainly included), and slowly make some improvements to ultimately sell the home and build our dream home. Now two kids and three years past our desired timeframe, I look around and realize that though we have a very happy home, it could still be considered a museum piece of the 50′s era. This upgrade would be a wonderful start to overdue upgrades.

I bought my first house last year at age 65. The kitchen had been “updated” but not in a great way. We need more cabinets and a better layout. I bought two new appliances, fridge and dish washer, but the stove needs to be replaced with a convection or double oven. There is no way to know if it has reached temp in the oven if you miss the one beep. We would love to redo it with a wall taken out and a peninsula put in. I am now on SS and no way to financially do this.

Just because nobody else wanted them didn’t make me able to kill them. So they live their lives out at my house, loved and cared for with all the love they deserve. My little Chi managed to live 22 years. I have only 6 dogs, 2 cats and a parrot left. The rest have one after another died. Now I am not as busy tending their needs and I look around and find that the house has taken a beating while I was otherwise occupied. I work nightshift as an LPN, have been trying to make a go of the dogfood and treats for over 10 years but haven’t been successful. I could really use a little help fixing things again. Thanks.

With 6 little ones, it’s not going to get replaced until it quits… money goes to needs, not wants. :) Thanks for the giveaway and chance to win!

I have a large family. When it comes to doing chores, I take the stress off of my wife by doing the ones that takes time. One of those is washing dishes. I prefer to do these by hand. It gives us time to talk and prepare our strategies for the kids. This would be a great addition. It would make washing dishes more enjoyable and when someone disagrees with me I can just spray them.

My house was built in 1962. Apparently, the previous owner updated the kitchen so now I have a double sink with a faucet that doesn’t reach into either of the sinks. I could really use that beautiful faucet. And, though I can’t afford to replace the flooring…and the cabinets…and countertops just yet the accessories would really help up the style quotient of my culinary center. And red is my favorite color!

My parents just bought me a house so I could be closer to them because I have lots of health problems, unable to work because I’m disable due to being hit head on in 1989 so my back is messed up but I get around ok I’m just in sever pain 24/7. I love to cook & bake but haven’t lately because been staying with them but to have a makeover in my house would be a blessing. I haven’t seen much good come my way the last 25 years because being in constant pain changes your whole outlook on life. At times you feel you would have been better off to have died then to go through what your going through every day, to suffer excruiating pain, have tests that don’t work or they can’t give you enough med’s & you can still feel it while they are doing it is not right. Pain is not fun, suffering is not a way of life, but to go into a bright shiny kitchen & have some new appliances to cook on, to use everyday would certainly make my day brighter. Lift someone’s spirit on life, on living. I’m not the only person out there thats suffering with pain I know there’s plenty more besides little ole me. But I’m hoping & praying that maybe I might have a chance of winning & if not whoever gets picked. God Bless them & good luck with their new kitchen!

We’ve lived in our home for 19 years, raised 4 kids on home cooked meals so it’s time to update and replace the heavily used kitchen items. Hubby and I are just beginning to “senior proof” our home so that it’s nice, updated, and safe for us to live in (while we’re still young enough to do the home improvements ourselves) into our old age now that the kids are almost out on their own,

I feel like I deserve this new kitchen because Im living in my Great Aunt and Uncles house now who has passed away and I would so LOVE to fix up the kitchen here but cannot afford it. The kitchen here is like walking back into the 1940s literally LOL! My late Uncle Floyd and Aunt Lois were both wonderful cooks! Their specialty was anything Italian, but particularly spaghetti and meatballs! They prided themselves with cooking for our family. It would make me feel so good to be able to redo their kitchen in their honor. The first thing I would do to christen the new kitchen would be to whip up a batch of homemade noodles and a huge pot of spaghetti sauce with of course the meatballs too! Thanks for the contest, even if I do not win it was nice to dream about the what ifs! LOL!

Our house is over 100 years old and the person who owned it before us was learning how to fix it up. Every room he got better at it, but the kitchen was definitely the first room he did. The faucet leaks no matter how much calk there is. Everything is old including our pots & pans. The cupboards are press board and completely warped not to mention they are so narrow that all the dishes have to go in sideways.

We have slowly been making improvements to our kitchen when we have the time and money and things NEED to be replaced. Our current faucet is working so we have not replaced it yet. However, I really dislike the setup we have. You have to pull the faucet handle down exactly in the middle to shut it off and a lot of the time the faucet doesn’t get shut off completely and will drip (causing our water bill to go way up). We have 4 adults living here and 1 child so it is hard to say who doesn’t turn it off all the way each time. In a hurry we tend to not notice to later also. I have been admiring others’ faucets and really want one but can’t justify spending the money at the moment. Thanks for the chance to win!

Our kitchen is from the 1960′s. It’s all gas, NO electric! It hasn’t been update or changed since the house was built. Only one stove burner works, the build-in oven is horrible and doesn’t shut all the way so when we use it to cook it fills the house with gas. We’ve had so many leaks under the sink that the floor and wall under the sink is caving in, there’s been so many disgusting bugs in our kitchen that I cringe just typing about it. The linoleum floor, if that’s what it even is, is peeling in two corners, there’s mold in the bottom cabinets and on the floor due to the leaks. I could go on and on and on but I’ll stop here. You get the picture.

Instead, I hope to buy new cabinet doors, replace the appliances as necessary/gradually, and maybe replace the flooring (plain but not damaged). A new sink fixture would make the sink/work area “pop” I hope!

After my house burned down in ’04, the idiot company that rebuilt my home botched nearly everything. The faucet that they installed leaks like a sieve, with running water trailing behind it and all over the counters. I’ve wrapped white thred tape around it in an attempt to help it to stop leaking, and it looks horrendous. It has to be manipulated a certain way before it will stop it’s incessant dripping ( that is more like a stream ), and to top it all off the sprayer stopped working too!
