Where do I start?? To prioritize on the improvement(s), the guest bathroom (which is the only bathroom on the first floor). It’s an embarrassment. The toilet barely flushes if you don’t know the ‘trick’ to use on the flush handle. In addition, the faucet is loose and moves around, which never fit correctly since we moved in. If I might add, we recently had our entire home’s plumbing replaced due to leaky copper pipes. (which are no longer used-at least in FL) What a mess!

We recently remodeled our main bathroom, but my husband did the work himself and cut corners – including NOT replacing the showerhead and faucet in the shower. I’d pick something really nice for that. Also, when we had our kitchen cabinets replaced, he chose to have them keep the sink and faucet. I desperately need a new, higher quality faucet in the kitchen. I’d use part of my prize to replace that.

Definitely replace the kitchen sink and have a good faucet with a handle that will release and spray (with a hose like) – I would love to replace the master bedroom sink and faucet as well. Our house is older and many things are just worn out.

“What home improvement project(s) would you tackle if you had a $1,000 allowance??”

We need a major overhaul in thee bathroom. A new shower/tub surround with hardware, flooring and some paint. I would also love to have everything matching. We have only one bathroom and it is seen by all!

We really need a new faucet. Ours is leaking and I think beyond repair. It’s super old! This would be perfect! And all the other goodies would be appreciated!

Re-do my kids’ sink, faucet, countertop and cabinetry plus, add a new over-the-toilet shelving and then get their tub resurfaced and install a new baseboard. Wishlist I know and then tack on a new toilet ~ pee-eww (literally)! Gotta love all my boys! I could stretch the $1k to do most of this too!
