Get the Ultra-Modern Look for Less A Modern Collection

Are you interested in a modern look that creates a bold statement in your home? Big style doesn’t have to come with a big price tag. We have curated a collection, inspired by our newest kitchen faucet family Arkitek, of accessories you can purchase to get the bold, minimalist kitchen of your dreams, without breaking the bank.

GLOBE LIGHT

Lighting can be a large focal point of any room and is an important element of kitchen decor. Consider a globe light fixture when deciding on a lighting source. It doubles as a beautiful fixture, and provides plenty of direct light.  This globe chandelier can be found at Shades of light, but consider this similar globe light from Ink & Ivy on Amazon for an industrial modern look for less.

WOOD BAR STOOL

Adding a bar stool to a kitchen counter is a great way to include some additional seating, without utilizing too much space. We loved the mixed elements of wood and metal in a modern kitchen space. Mixing design elements is a great way to incorporate different textures and colors into any space. We love the simple lines of this West Elm bar stool, and at $199 it’s a great price, but we found this similar bar stool for over $110 less at Birch Lane, and if you’re are buying more than one, the savings will really add up.

GREY GLASS TILE

Aside from paint or wallpaper, tile is another great option for adding color and or texture into a room. It’s great to use tile in the kitchen because it is easy to clean and can be cost effective for sprucing up a small space. The backsplash should complement your faucet, and fit the theme of your decor. Subway tiles are very popular, but you don’t always have to opt for a white tile. This grey glass tile from the Tile Bar is sleek and clean lines, at the cost per square foot, it would be a great option for a small area. We found another grey glass tile at Wayfair for half the price for square foot and would be a beautiful compliment to a modern kitchen faucet like Arkitek.

MORTAR & PESTLE

Small functional accents can really bring the design of any room together. There are so many gadgets and tools in the kitchen, if you aren’t using them daily they can become a lovely accent piece. You may not use a mortar and pestle daily, but this piece from Crate and Barrel is made from solid marble and is a culinary staple for any foodie. This piece from Burke Decor is also made of solid marble, and finished with a brass base, which really gives it an added touch of luxury.

FICUS BUSH

Utilizing greenery in a space is a great way to bring life into a room. Thes ficus bushes are very low maintenance. The plants do not grow too large, and only need to be watered enough to keep the soil moist. They do require plenty of indirect sunlight and love humidity, making a kitchen or dining room an ideal space. The Ficus Pandurata Bush from Home Depot is less than one-third of the Fiddle Leaf Fig Bush from Woddie Garden Goods.

PLANTER W/ METAL STAND

You’ll want to use a planter, to protect your floors, if you are adding greenery to your kitchen or dining room. We found two very similar white modern planters with a metal base. The white and black together are simple and timeless. Great for a modern space, but could also work with more traditional decor as well. The white planter from 2Modern is ceramic and the feet are powder coated steel. The Crate and Barrel planter stand is an iron pot with white powder coat and has the added benefit of being able to be used indoors as well as out.
