What is unique about Zuri?
If viewed from overhead, Zuri’s base is a triangle with rounded corners. The triangular design, a significant challenge for our industrial design team, is a first of it’s kind in faucet design. Originally conceived years ago, production technology at the time blocked Zuri from being crafted in the desired progressive triangle-to-round form. As manufacturing capabilities improved, Pfister revisited the original concept and Zuri was born.
Zuri boasts a triangular sprayhead, another first in faucet design. Our inspiration for this design feature comes from an unlikely source — the ends of the arms of comic book villain “Doctor Octopus” (Marvel), which are also triangular and look like faucet sprayheads! Zuri also sports a modern-styled ergonomic joystick handle–another first in Pfister’s faucet design. (We loved it so much, we subsequently designed another award-winning joystick faucet called Contempra.)
Zuri delivers impeccable design aesthetics and is an ideal faucet for fashionistas who like to express their style through fixtures and furnishings.
The Zuri Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet was a recipient of a 2013 ADEX Platinum Award. ADEX (Awards for Design Excellence) is the leading and most prestigious awards program in the architecture and design industry.
